For most people who have just discovered crystals, it can be a little overwhelming. How do you figure out what you need, how to use them, and what they are “good for?”

This list will narrow it down to the basics on ten common crystals that are fairly easy to acquire. As far as acquiring quality and affordable crystals, I strongly recommend you buy from a reputable local small business. You may find that crystals from local shops cost more than what you can find on foreign based shopping website. (We won’t mention any names here.) The probability of purchasing a genuine stone from your local dealer is much greater than those sites. Not to mention, supporting local small business is so very important to our economy.

Actual in-person storefronts are not always available in your area. Instead, you will find that many small business owners also have an online store. I invite you to visit my own at nature-cottage.square.site. This way you can add to your ever growing collection from the comfort of home. (And trust me, once you start collecting, it is ever-growing!)

Are you ready? Let’s dive right into the information you came here for today. What I consider to be the top 10 crystals for beginners:
