About me.

My name is Jessica McMahan. I am the founder and owner of The Nature Cottage, located at the intersection of Hwy 34 & 143 in Patterson, Missouri. (Formerly located in Piedmont, Mo)

Holistic health and wellness has become my main passion in life. I have always enjoyed spending time in nature, gardening, hiking, taking photos and sharing tidbits I learn with others, so after 18 years in the education field I decided it was time to make a change and start helping others discover ways to support their own overall well-being.

In addition to running a storefront for herbs, crystals and other natural products, I am also a certified Sound Therapy and Breathwork Facilitator, Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Reiki Master, and Licensed Massage Therapist with an additional certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I enjoy studying and sharing my knowledge of the use of crystals, herbs, essential oils and various practices from many cultures that promote a balanced life and better health.
