How to Make a Bentonite Clay & Salt Foot Soak:
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Bentonite clay
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- ¼ cup Himalayan pink salt or sea salt
- ¼ cup Epsom salt (optional)
- 10 drops of essential oil (optional)
- Warm water (enough to submerge feet)
Instructions:
- Dissolve the salts in warm water in a foot bath or basin.
- Pre-mix the Bentonite clay in a separate small bowl with apple cider vinegar to create a smooth paste (to prevent clumping).
- Apply the clay paste to feet with fingers or a brush.
- Allow paste to dry on feet. As it dries it will begin to crack and crumble. You may feel a light tingling sensation.
- Soak your feet for 20–30 minutes while relaxing.
- Rinse and moisturize your feet afterward with a natural oil like coconut or jojoba oil.
Tips:
If new to detox soaks, start with a 10–15 minute soak and gradually increase the time.
Drink plenty of water before and after to support detoxification.
